“Seek, seek my friends. This is the word that opens the door to everything that exists throughout all of space and all of time. Seek. Seek. And what will you find? You will find love, for that is all that there is to find. For that is all that there is.” - Hatonn

Returning to Love

As shamans we understand that the universe was born from one simple thought.  Love.   Love is responsible for the mystical energy behind our very existence.  Love is the life force that cannot be explained by science.   It fuels everything from the beginning of time and space, and forward into the future.

Before incarnating into this terrestrial human form, we come from a place of unyielding love, acceptance and understanding.  A place of nurturing support and unstinting devotion to the development of our souls.   It is a place where overwhelming peace and harmony is the norm.

In order to come here to this dimension, we pass through what some call “the great forgetting”.  Because we are here to level up our souls through work on our soul’s life purpose, we are disallowed the knowledge of where we are from… that loving place.  As a result, we inherently experience feelings of loneliness and separation, of a deep need for something more. We feel incomplete – that somethings missing -  and we search for something or someone to complete us.  Songs have been written about this (“I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”, “I Can’t get no Satisfaction”, etc.)

And then, perhaps, we find someone who indeed does just that.  We find a feeling of completeness.  We fall in love.  We find someone who feels like home.

In fact, we aren’t finding love… we are returning to it.  We have been homesick for that wonderful and familiar feeling that we’ve been missing while in this existence without even realizing it.  The love from which we came from has been pulling us toward itself - driving force that we’ve been feeling all along.  That love is wonderfully powerful.  That love gave birth to the universe, and continues to drive us forward in all things.
